About Trina

Trina has called the UAE home since 2001 and has witnessed first-hand how the rising cost of living has impacted many families across the region. While working in schools through Trina’s Farm and her educational incubator experiences, she became increasingly aware of the growing financial hardships facing families due to job losses and economic pressures. During these conversations, she learned that some children would not have Christmas presents — or even a Christmas tree — in their homes.

After the festive season, Trina noticed hundreds of Christmas trees being discarded or given away for free on Facebook Marketplace. This moment sparked an idea that combined compassion with sustainability — and Trina’s Trees was born: the region’s first Christmas tree rental company with purpose.

For every tree rented through Trina’s Trees, a family in need is given the opportunity to receive a Christmas tree free of charge at the end of the season. This initiative not only spreads joy where it’s needed most, but also supports Trina’s long-standing sustainability mission. No more plastic trees ending up in landfill — every tree is collected after the holidays and thoughtfully repurposed for good in the following year.

Through Trina’s Trees, Trina hopes to ensure that every child can experience the magic of Christmas, while creating a more sustainable future for the community.
